Got the Bren Ten on Gunbroker, brand new Marksman .45,one of 250 made. 2,380.00 bucks plus shipping. Research indicated Johnson had a custom made .45 model because of easy access .45 blanks.

Thanks bac1023 and others for the advice, he was even kind enough to tell me he wouldn't bid.

WOWZA!! LOTSA Cash for that baby. Congrats to you for sure.

I remember when they were introduced all those many years ago. Then they just went away and Sonny Crockett switched to a S&W.

Those Bren Tens are great looking pistols for sure. There have been several attempts at bringing them back and just recently someone was showing several at SHOT, but I don't think they are being sold right now though. SAD.

Show pics and a RANGE REPORT......haha.

Isn't the Bren Ten based on the CZ design? I believe someone is making a 10mm CZ-platform pistol now. It's not the Bren Ten but it might be a good one.

I'd love to have one - just for the name, if nothing else. Oddly, that is not why my user name is Bren.

With the following of the 10mm coming back on somewhat I think it would be a great idea for new Bren Tens to be made by someone. Also, CZ beckmes more well known and mainstream by the day. I love my CZ 85 Combat, and would love to marry it to a 10mm. I hope to see them available!

I got the 645 thinking it was the Miami Vice gun I remembered only to be reminded by those of you with greater knowledge that originally it was a Bren Ten.

Pretty expensive lesson. Next time I'll collect the weapons of Brodrick Crawford or something cheaper.

well, jeff cooper had some input on the bren ten and besides the 1911, he loved the CZ75.

and there is a CZ copy that is chambered in 10mm. made by a company called Tanfoglio, imported to the states by EAA. i always wanted one because i love CZ, but there are very mixed opinions about their quality, and rumor has it their customer service is horrible.

I didn't realize there were so many fellow fans of Miami Vice :supergrin::supergrin::wavey:. Bac, how much will it set one back to purchase a Bren Ten with that finish?
