Handled a 870 with one and it felt real nice. Came up right on target and pointed well which most pistol grip shotguns dont for me. Of course I have no idea what the shooting confort is ob the thing. Anyone shot one enough to have an opinion?

I am considering one of these

MagPul Stock SGA Adaptable Remington 870 12 Gauge Synthetic

    http://www.midwayusa.com/product/56...ptable-remington-870-12-gauge-synthetic-black

I have all the related stuff in my cart - forend, recoil pad adapter & Picatinny Rail

    http://www.midwayusa.com/product/71...fits-moe-handguards-and-forends-polymer-black

I have always heard good things about Magpul - the reviews are good -

The only things holding me back

The forend - it is shorter that the OEM Remington forend - I have always gripped the forend very close to the back - away from the muzzle end - I think because I started shooting a 12 gauge pump when I was 11 years old and had short arms - it developed into a habit.

But in order to put a shell carrier on the reciever I need to replace the forend.

I bought a Hogue stock and forend - it was a POS - very bad fit - so bad I though it must be for a different gun.

Plus why can't these after market stock companies figure out how to allow OEM recoil pads to fit - stupid as hell.

    I sent it back -

Mesa LEO with Enidine Buffer and Limbsaver M4 pad is the best recoil reduction opion on the market. But the biggest benifit is when used correctly it all but eliminates muzzle flip so you stay on target or get back on faster for follow up shots. The Creme De' Creme of stocks for a fighting shotgun bar none. Worth every cent because my life is worth it.

Short story, not worth the money, especially when the Enidine Buffer leaks. Ergonomics were poor for me.
