I'm looking into sending my slide into lone wolf to be ported, but they require the sights to be removed. Anyone know if the meprolight tru-dots for a G19 can be removed and then re-installed when the slide returns? Or am I going to have to buy new sights?

All sights should be able to be removed and reinstalled.........especially the aftermarket ones such as meprolights, truglo, ameriglo, trijicon, etc. you will need a sight pusher for the rare sight.

I thought so, but I figured id ask I was uncertain because their website says a lot of the tritium sights are ruined once removed

Nope the mepros will be fairly simple to reinstall, 3/16(if I remember correctly off the top of my head) nut driver- depending in the nut driver it may need to be ground a little if the driver tip wall is too thick, - and a brass(or something non marring) punch maybe 5 minutes work.
    Blue loctite front sight screw.
