Just got this build done. Waited almost a month and a half for the Mega Upper, these things are on backorder everywhere I checked. Rifle is SUPER TIGHT and nicely built. The Noveske Afghan barrel loves the M855 ammo. Here are the specs and pics:

    Mega Arms Trigger
    Noveske Afghan 14.5 Barrel
    Noveske Bolt
    Noveske Low Profile Gas Block
    Battle Comp 1.5"
    BCM Gunfighter Charging Handle
    Ergo Grip
    Troy Sights (Front & Rear)
    AimPoint PRO
    Magpul CTR Stock
    Magpul ASAP
    Magpul MS2
    Magpul AFG2
    Magpul RSA
Magpul XTM Panels (not pictured, but going on)

Really nice build! I just finished a Mega build in 7mm-08. How do you like the Mega trigger?

That looks just like my Alexander Arms Single-Stage Tactical Trigger. I wonder if Mega makes it for them.

That's an awesome build. I have a Mega upper on a Spikes lower, with a Lothar-Walther barrel.

I still haven't decided whether to keep the AFG on my carbine.

Thanks! I am always reading what you guys post on here. I got a lot of good advice from reading all the other build & review threads!

Is that to say, you have a rifle length gas system on a 14.5" barrel? Can you describe the "Afghan Barrel" for us that are slow on the up-take?

No, mid length gas system with a rifle length rail. The rifle length rail covers up the gas block. I think it also gives it the SBR look a little--in NYS, that's the closest I'll get to a SBR look,

Weight has me curious too. Not crazy about the trigger but that's a damn fine looking gun. Get it on a scale and let us know what it weighs.
