I was stationed in Kandahar AB Afganistan last year, with My cousin Zachery Stinson. He was married before he left. He was out side the wire on a mission. Standard operation for these guys. An IED was set off and he was hit, complete loss of both his legs, and part of his left arm. I tried to get into the Hospital to check his condition after the HH-60 dropped him off. My work was right up the ramp from 5Right. My heart hurt when word got to me. My father let me know a couple days later that he was alive but in bad shape. They had medivac him to Germany. That was a very bad week. Most folks are to lazy to stand for the Nathonal Anthem. This young 19 year old Marine stands anyway he can!
    I salute you Sgt Stinson.
    Very proud of you,
    MSgt Stinson
