Hi, I just was given a Marlin Mod 60 22 LR that I used to use as a kid, I need the Tube Magazine for it, Everywhere I look i see they are not available anymore, Do you guys have any ideas?

Any Tips on measuring length? I see they offered a few different size tubes.

A good place to start is:

The actual subtype of Model 60 would be helpful.

    Numrich Gun Parts Corp.

Try Numrich Gun Parts Company WWW.gunpartscorp.com. I have been able to get parts for a rifle of my fathers and restore it to working condition. They are fairly inexpensive as well. Good luck.

Gun parts are being sold again on ebay. I see them there all the time. Might also want to check the Marlin semi auto forum on www.rimfirecentral.com

The older rifles used a 17 round tube. After the AWB (mid 80s) tubes were reduced to 15 rounds.

What are the first two digits of the serial number that would tell me the year. They stopped making the 17 shot tube in 1985 and the 14 shot tube in 1986. If you have a 22" barrel and the tube isn't flush it is made between 86 and 90's something. That would be the 14 shot

You could just buy a used Mod 60 and take the parts you need. I think You might find an old Sears and Robuck model 43, same parts.

26 are the first two, I think I am getting the right part from Numrick, Marlin had the tube and some parts but not everything.

Marlin told me today it was a 1974 Model, They said they think I need the 20 13/16 tube which is what I ordered today, i hope it works. I also ordered some parts for a 340 KC 22 made by Mossberg from them.
