Get ready to pay $695 per person[up to 3 in a household] per year.

Maybe I missed it posted here, but in 2016 that's what its supposed to be.

When the low income people who think they are getting free healthcare find out they have to pay $695 MINIMUM and up to $2,085...they'll sure be displeased with the people who gave them that burden.

How they think a person making fast food money can afford all that is beyond me.

Those people aren't going to pay for health insurance. The plan all along has been to have the gov pay it for them. This will become apparent if Obuma gets re-elected.

Well...theyre supposed to pay according to Business Insider.

Maybe they wont enforce it or will change it, but apparently that is the law. I posted this article on a debate forum with mostly libs and they dont deny it.

Their responce: "It costs around a cup of coffee a day."

All part of the plan, my friend. This dependency that is being expanded is a danger to us all. When the welfare runs out, it's going to get ugly.

If I lived in a major city, I would be making plans to move today.

Remember what happened in Atlanta awhile back when the food stamps were a day late? Google the video. The crowd almost tore down the front wall of the building.

If I may quote three words from the article: "Those with "hardships.""

I foresee us becoming a nation of "hardships".

I'm against this whole Obama Care thing just as much as the next guy, but....

$695 - $2085 a year for health insurance isn't much money as far as health insurance is concerned, so not the best argument against it....

$58 - $174 a month.... hell thats less than I'm paying for my health insurance through my work (typically take out $80 every other week of my paycheck)

i get the argument and certainly don't agree with obama care, but thats actually pretty cheap....

To semi-quote one of my favorite movies............
"Well, what you plan and what takes place ain't ever exactly been similar."

IMO, it's awfully difficult to run a Country where the left makes absolutely certain that the Lion's share of the people are beholding to the govt for their subsistence. Not only beholding to the govt.....but prevented from doing for themselves.

It's done by force of the aged, indoctrination of the young, and lying in general. The lies work mostly because the people want 'em to work and are oh so willing to believe...............as long as there's money connected with 'em, which there usually is as long as the lie starts with the left.

Simply depends on who in the world is going to be paying for it, now doesn't it?

All those who have fallen for the lie that, "the rich will pay for the poor".......a lie always loved by those who fall into the "poor" category.....it's something that allows others to judge their intellect quite nicely actually.

    IMO of course..........................IMO.

You also get "tax credits" to help you pay for it. Obamacare will ultimately penalize the middle class.

Ummm, that is the fine *for not having* health insurance. You do not get insurance if you pay the fine. You pay the fine, $695-$2085, for not having insurance and you still do not get it.

How do they enforce it? Did they finally find a way to keep the majority of the tax returns that people get, just take the penalty or tax whatever out of the tax return at the end of the year?

You know at least we did "Something" for the privledge. Now you have given in essence, better Than TriCare to the Welfare State while being bitter about Vetrans having it.
I hope they open a recruiting station and no one show up. You folks can defend yourselves from the doorstep.

I don't care what it costs. I'm not buying health insurance just because Congress says I must. Health insurance is such a scam anyway, so I'm not buying it at all.

    Really...

So you dont get insurance for it then. That's interesting.

So the poor will have to pay more tax then theyve ever had to pay in their lives and still not be insured.

The "penalty", "tax" or whatever you choose to call it does not provide insurance. It is like, in a state (VA, for example) you do not carry auto insurance. You pay a fee to DMV that allows you to drive---it does not provide insurance.

The insured driver pays an "uninsured/underinsured" fee on their own policy which protects him should they have an accident with an "uninsured" driver.
