How do you tell the Airsoft from the real?

    Are they the same?
    They are licensed?

I noticed the same exact thing a while back when i was buying a bunch of stuff for a magpul OD build. I think if you look on their site, there is a difference in model number. Slickguns.com is constantly showing that deal on amazon.

Yes, the PTS is licensed, no it is not the same. The PTS stuff is made overseas to lower quality specs, since it's intended for airsoft guns.

I don't think you can buy magpul sights in pairs you have to buy them separate.

Only the air soft stuff comes in a box in pairs like that, all the magpul sights I have seen lately have come in a bag.

Word! I got mine from Bravo. It's not worth the worry if they are fake or not to save a few bucks.

Are they marked so you can see the difference?

If you buy them new--yes the package is marked. If not, you can absolutely feel a difference. The PTS plastic feels cheap and they don't open and close smoothly like normal MBUS sights.

No it's not at all. I was browsing eBay and saw the PTS for somewhere around $25 for a pair. Almost hit the buy it now button but they sounded too good to be true. Turns out that was the case.
