I understand getting the PMAGS for AR - it's a better mag. But what's the point of buying an aftermarket AK mag? Originals work perfectly just the way they are. Could someone explain?

Magpul makes a great product, so it's safe to say that these will be great (especially when the metal lined come out)... That's the main reason I wanted to try these. The fact that they were just $14, each made it even better.

Metal mags are my go-to mags, but for the range, I don't mind trying something new... You never know, perhaps the metal lined version will become the new "better mag" in the Ak world...

More will be on the way if I like the pmag. Plus if a Gen 2 is around the corner then I would rather buy more of them. And I am weirry about ordering from this website again. Still would like to hear if anyone had similar issues after thier order.

www.44mag.com is legit, even if they did price gouge during the panic.

I agree the site is legit. My credit card was hacked and sometimes sites like this are targeted for by theives.

I bought two to try out. Will run them this weekend to test them. I've never had an issue with an Magpul product so I'm sure they will run fine.
