    Ripped from another forum:

I got myself a Garden and Gun subscription. I hear it's a pretty good read.

Is that the magazine where they teach you how to safely bury your guns in case the government is out of control???

I'm getting tired of magazines. I used to like F&S and OL. I only read about 1/3 of it now. Guns, Am Handgunner, etc., Ick. I just can't read that stuff anymore. If John Taffin rolls out one more dumb custom sixgun or waxes eloquent on his top 2-3 favorite dead gun people again, I might scream.

I'm down to the B.A.S.S. magazine for real enjoyment. :(

I agree. I used to get 7-8 magazines. Then I got my first iPhone. I can find and read about everything in a magazine for free. My last 2 subscriptions expired this month (Golf and Golf Digest), great mags, but only time I read them is on the can. Now I just take my iPhone in there with me....

Whatever you do, if you subscribe to a magazine, DO NOT pay for it with a credit card. They will keep renewing the subscription without your consent until the end of time, or until you credit card becomes invalid, whichever is later.

Garden and Gun Magazine is pretty darned good!!
The barber shop that I frequent has a subscription.

    I'll have one, now!

I used to keep Shooting Times, G & A, Handguns, Sports Afield, Field & Stream, and Outdoor Life, in business.

I've dropped everything now, except for Outdoor Life.
Just can't walk away from it.

Garden & Gun has article in it, that my wife and I both can enjoy.

    Thanks, Sterling!!!!!!!
