I just managed to pick one up all matching numbers in very good condition for pretty cheap. Thought it would be a cool fairly unique addition to my collection of guns. 8mm fun to come. Ill post pics after i pick it up today.

    Neat gun, Cephus.

    I had a C&R for a while and bought a few 8 MMs and loved them. I couldn't find a low enough price on a 24/47 when there were 48s, 48As and 98/22s avaialble.

I fired a friends 24/47 a year or so ago and it handles pretty well. Now only if you could go back in time and find some of that 7 cents per round 8 MM ammo....

    Enjoy your new gun.

I think I bought some 24/47's with bayos cheap, under $150.00 IIRC years ago, sweet rifle. Now you mention the 98/22's, I have a couple and love them, $69.00 each. I'm glad I stocked up on cheap 8mm, those days are gone my friend.
