Hopfully I'll be picking up a new M&P 15 today flatop carbine.
+1....I got one a little over a year ago....its a flat top but came with the carry handle on it....I love it. Actually used it White Tail hunting a little after I bought it. Dropped a doe at 100 yrd with the iron sights
You can hunt deer with 5.56/.223? Can't here in MI.....
Nice shot by the way!!!
Thanks, I believe it was pure luck!.... 5.56/.223 is the smallest rifle round you can use in South Dakota for hunting. That was my last time hunting in SD, I'm sure gonna miss it
I have an M&P 15T, it's sitting next to me on the couch (I'm a dork) and I love it. It's got an Eotech 552, Tango Down VFG, Surefire weapon light w/pressure pad (fits in the VFG) replacement grip with battery storage, and I painted it to match the M4 in MW2 (video game.)
Yes, I'm an M4gery dork!!!
I had an M&P15T for about a month....I ended up selling it to appease my wife . I should have kept it.
Buy another one after Winter is over.
Congrats man. Are you getting the "A" model that comes with the Troy rear sight? I bought mine almost a year ago.
Wow....my wife was the one that gave me the idea!
I got it can't wait to shoot it!
Congrats! I love my new Smith too!!
I picked up one a couple of months ago. I've been very pleased with my M&P. Dead accurate right out of the box, wonderful finish, and great balance.
I have been pleased with my M&P15.. congrats on yours!
LOL. GOOD FOR YOU!
I ordered a pentax scope for it today from shooters guide it was a featured iten in the catalog.Any experiance, also does anybody have any suggestions on scope rings to fit that rail? Thanks.
I already have a standard M&P15 and have been very happy with it. This afternoon while visiting my favorite gun store they just got a new M&P15PS Piston System carbine. The more I looked at it I became intrigued. I've never had a problem with a DI AR but with all the hoopla over these new gas piston ARs I am curious. I just may go back tomorrow and buy it. S&W has really jumped on the AR bandwagon in a big way, and I'm impressed with their quality.
i was thinking the same thing. I like my M&P15T and was looking at the PS.
i might pick up a PS this weekend or a VTAC if they still have it.
congrats on a good AR...i think they allowed 223/5.56 in Oklahoma about 5 years ago..55gr soft point is the lightest bullet you can use
Great Selection, I have the M&P 15X and love it- great shooter and just looks cool!
