Just out of curiosity, how many of you make it a habit of pulling the blitz line as your first-in attack hose? I've been seeing some neighboring departments starting to do that more than they used to... we still pull the 1 3/4 as our first in attack line, and usually as the 2nd line to the charlie side as well. We pull the 2.5 on surround and drowns, but as we have three 200' 1 3/4 attack lines to pull, usually we leave the deuce on the piece. Engine setup: 1000' 5" supply line. Two 200' 1 3/4 pre-con'd crosslays. One 200' 1 3/4 pre-con'd bumper line. One 50' 1 1/2 Trash Line (front bumper). One 200' 2 1/2 Blitz Line. One Apartment Load (200' 3", 200' 1 3/4" off a gated wye). Wanna kill these ads? We can help!
