Am I the only one looking for a dang lower rise holster? My body type is "of generous size" as stated by the surgeon who took out my appendix a couple weeks ago. So, I have some love handles. High ride holsters protrude like crazy. Is anyone making a lower rise, decent holster? The only ones I find that work are DeSantis nylon holsters...IWB. I'd love an OWB...though I don't mind IWB.

How concealable do you need it to be? Most Safariland holsters are more duty-type and are low riding but are not very concealable. Great for range or OC use though.

If you don't mind a IWB holster, check out the Remora IWB, you can adjust it how you want it.

How much lower than a crossbreed supertuck can you get? If mine was much lower it would be an ankle holster.

I can see the problem with any owb, but a good iwb with a proper belt shouldn't be a problem.

Lose weight. I've had to add 4 holes to my belt since Christmas. The more weight that comes off, the easier and more concealable OWB becomes.

Comp-tac belt and paddle holsters right quite a bit lower than average.
