Anyone have experience with good converter? Would like to be able to record certain cuts of DVD and choose what resolution output will be in....Need 320x240 for Zire72. Anything thats free or not is fine. I've tried PQDVD for palm buts its buggy..or 550 pc can't handle it, and I can't get sound...video is good though. Thanks all..

I made a post about this last night on Dave's iPAQ... the thread is HERE.

I'll be putting up a true single-step procedure tonight (I think).

Basically you can do the one step using FAIR USE LE. Look at the top for the "LE" edition. It's easy to use and rather flexible.

BTW - you may want to look at my thread at Dave's to get the codecs and the BETAPLAYER...

    HTH--

Thanks....DVD Shrink worked good. I cut one chapter from DVD....But having problems with the encoder, it crashes when I try and mount vob...I'm gonna try it on another machine and see what happens. The media player that came with my Zire72 plays avi and wmv files just great.
