I have a black stainless combat 1911 from springfield and really like the frag grips offered by vz grips. They say they need the slim set of screws and bushings. I am not sure if the ones that are already on my 1911 will work or if I need to order a set of new screws and bushings. Does anyone know if the factory springfield ones will be fine or not?:dunno:

  3. Or you can just tell VZ you'll also need slim hardware, and they will be able to send with those slim grips.

When I ordered my slim grips, they made sure I didn't need a set of hardware. I declined since I already have them on my pistol.

I just got my vz alien grips in the mail, now I have to wait to get my 1911 back from the shop.
