I've had my Glock 17 for about a year now and have only fired range ammo. Recently I purchaced a 20 round box of Speer Gold Dot 124gr +P and that came to 31.50 with tax. I want to see how well it works in my gun, but don't think I'll fire a lot of it. At more than 1.50 a squeeze I think it will be used for special occasions only.
Does anyone know where it can be bought at a better price.

IMHO any "premium" SD round is going to cost 20-30$ depending on availability.... Either do what I did, cough up 100$ for 100 "premium" rounds to ensure they cycle properly, not to mention I cycle my mags out every 6 months. Or shoot WWB JHP. Those go for a much better price from what I've seen.

19.99 is certainly a much better price. But where is scheels...are they a mail order store. I'm from the Chicago area and bought my ammo at the qun shop, which by the way are very few and far between.
