My latest sprint... the only knife I've ever bought two of!

Simply beautiful! Those look like Caly 3 CF/Damascus. I like the bolsters, too.

    Congrats on the great catch!

Yep. Caly 3 CF / Damascus. One has been enjoying a long rotation in my pocket. The other is a safe queen, perhaps a gift to my son when he's older.

Sorry for the thread hijack. I don't own any combo-edge, tanto blades to suggest to the OP.

Kershaw now markets the Kuro (available at Wal Mart) for $20.00
Before you laugh and walk away....at least go look at one.

    http://www.bladehq.com/item--Kershaw-Kuro-Tanto-Spring-Assisted--11111

I own a Blur, and I gave one to my brother for his birthday...love them.
That being said, the Kuro has an assisted opening (flipper) that I prefer over the assisted opening (thumb) of the Blur, and is less than a third of the price. (If you lose it, it don't hurt quite as bad...)

Serrated edge, Tanto point, Assisted opening, Kershaw quality. $19.99 at Wal Mart. Kershaw Kuro

Lots of good options. I carry an Emerson Commander. I love the wave opening feature.

My vote for Kershaw products. I've got 6. My favorite
is the "Needs Work" with the Blur being 2nd followed by
my Chive. My first was a Blackout. It's in my Polaris
Ranger 800 XP EPS. I keep a Leek in my Tractor's tool
box and a Tanto in the my FX4. The Need's Work clipped
in my back pocket and the Chive in my inside Vest Pocket.
The Blur is in a Bug Out Maxpedition bag.
I used to be a Spyderco and Gerber fan. Still have several
of each, but Kershaw is my knife of choice for a folder.

Not bad but buy somewhere other than CTD.

I got my OKC Apache in and I gotta say I really like it especially for what I paid for it.

Please refer to what I said on Page 1 of this thread regarding CTD.

Thank you everyone for your replies and suggestions! I appreciate and value all of them.

Oops, you expect me to read your second post on the same page? Sometimes I do sometimes I don't. To my credit, I suggested you buy somewhere else. I'm not sure what I posted would be considered a lecture but hey, buy whatever you want wherever you want.

No offense meant, no offense taken. It's just that I've read, and have been lectured enough, about CTD to make me sick. I know they're not conducting business well right now. If I were buying ammo or a gun, I would take that into consideration. But it's just a knife.

    Thank you for your suggestion.

If you have not bought yet also consider the CRKT M21-02 or 04
