What laser printer do ya'll recommend that would have the lowest cost per page printed?

It would be nice if it had a copier but not a must.

I will likely be printing a lot of documents for personal use, meaning, I'll turn down the quality for those. The few times I need something printed out real nice, I can crank it up.

I don't know anything about laser printers but I think for my use, they would be superior to inkjet... The less expensive the better, $300 is about as high as I'd go.

I use a Samsung ML2851ND. I just bought it for the company in April and its been working like a champ so far. The nicest thing for me is that its wired to the network so any of my 3 computers in the office can print to it simply.

I also really like it holds quite a bit of paper in the tray and when I need to print shipping labels the front door opens and i just slip in a label sheet and it automatically takes from the front tray.

    So far its been great.

I've been using a Samsung SCX-4200 laser printer/copier/scanner for a number of years and have been very happy with it. Low per page cost (especially when tweaking the print settings).

A common practice of most printer manufactures is to include "starter" cartridges in new printers which hold less ink then the refills sold to consumers.

  7. I prefer the 99 buck HP lasers. Mostly because the replacement toners include both the toner and the drum unlike the Brother lasers and others where you have to buy each seperate. That said, I have an hp 1020 in use, an hp color laser networked, a brother hl 1240 and a brother mfc 7440N all in one laser networked. All work great.

You need to buy a toner refill kit. $5-6 bucks.

Good deal.. glad my suggestion helped.

I should buy another for a spare, or one strictly for labels and one for paper..
