Looking for a certain grip

Discussion in '1911 Forums' started by Jim S., Jan 23, 2010.

  1. I remember seeing a set of wood grips for a 1911 that had a U.S. Marine Corps emblem on the grip panel. Just don't remember where and I can't find them no matter how much I google it.
Anyone out there able to help me out?

Esmeralda at "Esmeralda Grips" recently made me 2 sets of full checkered slim 1911 grips. They are both outstanding. One is black ebony for my Heirloom Precision hardchrome 1911 and the other is ivorywood for my Les Baer blued TRS. I heartily recommend her work and she will make them up exactly how you want them on whatever wood you want them made of. Aluma Grips wll also make their grips with a Marine Corps emblem. 3. The Kimber's are the one's I want. They are out of stock at this time but I'm patient.
    Thanks.
