Is there a production Glock 10mm in a longslide that has a 6" barrel?

I'd like to have the reliability of a production auto, without the expense of a custom auto, BUT with the power of a 10mm, for hunting deer. I'm open to suggestions of other auto calibers.

Your opinions and experience is appreciated.
    Thank you, Bowhunter57
  2. If you have a G20, you can get a Glock factory hunting barrel for it. It is 6" so it extends out about an inch and a half.

This is what I've been using (G20L Lone Wolf Longslide)

  4. If you have a G20 with a 6" extended barrel for hunting, why bother getting a longer slide too? Just wondering.
  5. i am wondering that myself you could almost get a Desert Eagle for what the long barrel and slide cost and 44 mag is still better than a 10 mm and a 50 AE is way better.
Or you could go with somthing like a Ruger Super Redhawk in 454 Casul or a 480 Ruger for a bit less

I already had a DE .50AE/.44Mag, the Longslide/barrels/mags cost about half of what a .50 and a conversion .44 barrel and mags cost (if you already have a large frame glock reciever).

Why get the Longslide? Longer sight picture, adjustable melted Bo-Mar rear sights, and it mellows the super HOT rounds a great deal. Some folks shoot plates out to 200yards with 'em so they're accurate to boot. Plus it doubles as a .45acp/45Super/SMC longslide with a simple barrel/mag swap.

Ain't nothing wrong with just getting a KKM or Bar-Sto 6" barrel though. Plenty of folks hunting with that. Not sure how precise the sights are then.
