    Good morning,

    Just a heads-up to let anyone who is interested in competitive shooting events that on Sunday 21 March, 2010 Grey Wolf Training Specialists, Inc. will be hosting our Long Range Marksmanship Competition at our Colchester, CT. Training Area, located in Colchester, CT.

    The Details:

    Date: Sunday - 21 March, 2010

    Location: Grey Wolf Training Specialists - Colchester, CT. Training Area
    (Directions provided with registration)

    Times: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (Check - in starts at 9:00 am and the
    competition will start at 10:00 am sharp)

    Entry Fees: Competitors - $50.00 / Guests or Spectators - $10.00 (With
    free access to 320 degree training range)

    Registration: ALL COMPETITORS MUST PRE-REGISTER BY 10 March, 2010 (Guests may pay at the gate). No registrations will be taken that day.

    Weapon / Restrictions: All weapons must be either semi-automatic or bolt
    action with a caliber no less than .223 or greater
    than 300 Win Mag

    Events: The competition will comprise of a total of 4 timed events with
    3 timed stages each:

    1. Cold Bore Accuracy Shoot (Standing / Kneeling / Prone)

    2. Balloon Shoot (Standing / Kneeling / Prone)

    3. Moving Target Shoot (Standing / Kneeling / Prone)

    4. Golf Ball Shoot (Standing / Kneeling / Prone)


    Range Distance: 200m

    Prizes: Prizes awarded for best overall accuracy and time:

    1. $250.00 - First Prize

    2. $75.00 Cabellas Gift Certificate - Second Prize

    3. $25.00 Dicks Sporting Goods Gift Certificate - Third Prize

    Food and Refreshments: Will be available on-site

    Hi Drew,

    Because of the distance involved and the size of the targets, optics are recommended. However with that said, if someone is so inclined to use "Irons Only", we wont stop them.
