I have a Linksys WRTP5G-VR VOIP router I'd like to give to a buddy that needs a wireless router. The text on the router describes it as a "Wireless G broadband router with 2 phone ports". It has an ethernet cable port for "INTERNET", 4 more labeled ethernet, and 2 phone ports. Can he use this for general wireless connectivity with his cable modem as is and just ignore the VOIP feature with no unexpected results?
