    Wrong forum.

Maybe you meant to post this at the Democrat Underground Forum,
    or The Daily Kos?

Rush is so effective because he's right.
That's why the liberals can't stand him.

    Typical political hack job.

    That "journalist" should be ashamed.

People who hate Rush are either left-wing kooks, or have never heard his show. He's an incredible talent and satirical master.

Whether you like Rush or not it should still concern you that people are so desperate to shut him up. Where are the folks who are chastizing Bill Mayher (sp), or Ed Shultz, or Lawrence O'Donnell. They say some pretty interesting things but I dont hear anyone trying to take their microphone away. Maybe its because their combined audience doesn't begin to even half Rush's

They are trying to do the same thing to him as they did to Beck.

Probably, I remember when I first started listening to Beck right about when he was leaving, or had just left CNN. He made the point that there will be those who will try to get rid of him by any means. He expressed contenment regardless of what happened to him. In listening to him in recent days I believe what he said back then. He moved to Texas and is doing fine

What a lot of people do not know about Rush, is a lot of what he says is for shock value. Even that aside half of what he says is no where near what the let puts out about him and the right in general. I mean where is the outrage over half of what Bill maher says and half of what he says is down right slander.

Who cares? He peaked in '94 with the "republican revolution" and ceased being relevant more than 10 years ago, when the Clinton era ended.

He's sort of talk radio's version of George Lucas. Once upon a time he was great at stirring the conservative imagination, but all his ideas have long since been incorporated into the status quo, and he is just too mentally old to push on to the next philosophical level.

Lol. If what he says isn't relevant, then left-wing heads wouldn't explode when he exposes them for the frauds they are. Nice try. If you stick your head in the sand, he might go away. But, I doubt it.

I've been married for many years and I don't agree with everything my wife says.

    Same for Rush.
I agree with him a majority of the time but certainly not all of the time, but, I do agree with him more frequently than any other radio/TV talks show host(s) or hostess(es).

I believe in allowing these folks to say whatever they wish as it gives the viewers plenty of opportunity to see and hear what these folks really believe.
I try to watch a variety of shows and news channels but some are more difficult to watch than others.

Let's face it. MSNBC is a joke and a likely propaganda venue for the Democratic/Socialist party.
If you take these folks seriously, you seriously need counseling.

We're probably thinking of relevancy in different ways. If you judge by audience size, he's still "relevant" in the same way that George Lucas is still relevant (both can still get a big audience based on reputation). This is the part that irritates the lefties. Any non-lefty will do the same, if they have a large audience.

What I'm talking about is the ability to change the nature of the conversation. One upon a time, Rush did it. Not now, and not for the last 10 years at least.

Rush is the best IMO, but he can't cover all the **** ups the right have handed him. I've listened to Rush since about 1993, when he had a good message, now he just sounds desperate.

Rush is nothing more than an entertainer, and shouldn't be looked to for any more than that.

Last time I checked, he still had a fairly decent income. He must be doing something right.

If him being on the air irritates libs, I hope he sticks around for a long while.
