    Awesome deal,.....ACT mags?

I'll look for one in a few months. With starting school & the Springer
getting to Joe's shop today, projects will taper off for a bit.

I think they're Metalform mags, but don't hold me to that one. I'm a Wilson or Tripp Cobra guy, but these work just fine in the Sig. For the money I paid, I don't think I've ever gotten a gun for the money that this one is....at least so far. :)

I have an original SIG GSR 1911, as well as a newer SIG Custom Shop STX and the shorter C3 model. I love them all. You won't be disappointed. I've loved SIG's for years, long before they even sold 1911's. True quality, engineering and customer service.

I read until my head hurt to educate myself a little on the 1911's before I made a purchase, just my nature. Everything I read about this firearm was good. I read nothing bad. Sig owners are a bit cultish which is a good thing because they believe in their choice. Kinda like Glock.

I had my choices down to the tac ops, extreme, and the TRP. If I didn't get a bit of extra sudden cash it would have been the Tac ops.

    You did good!

Nice score, man! For that deal, I could certainly learn to love (or at least live with) the external extractor.
