My mind cant comprehend this. The 4-12x actual magnification is 4.5-11.5x ok thats fine and all but what about the fact that the 3-9x actual magnification is 3.3-14.1x. The 4-12x costs $150 more I guess because it has an AO. Is the 3-9x superior?

So you're telling me that all these years I've been getting MORE than I paid for?

I think you misread the stats!

The actual magnification is 8.6x at max with a 14.1' field of view.
