RIA came out with a 1911 (double stack) that fires both the 22 TCM and 9mm. I like that idea but i'd prefer it in a Glock. Would a conversion 22 TCM barrel for a G17 or G19 work? Or is the cartridge lentgh going to be an issue with the magazine??

The .22tcm has an OAL close to .38super so I do not see it fitting and working in the G17 and G19. If you could get a barrel and mags to feed it maybe the tcm would work in a g20 or G21 platform.

Pics compared to other cartridges here. http://thefiringline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=476867

Yea from the pictures it does look a bit longer. I wasn't sure if it is short enough to fit the magazine or not. Most likely not.

A .22 bottle-necked cartridge in a Glock - what will they think of next?
