They are a set of Hogues on the standard Hi Power. They feel and shoot quite well, but the Pachmayrs on the competiton model fit my hand better but are a little more slipery though compared to the Hogue grips.

Can't help but be inspired by the superb examples of Hi-Powers here. My humble contribution to this thread. 2 BHP's i acquired some 30 years ago from an uncle of mine. they were pretty worn outside and quite rusty. Kept them oiled till I recently met a good smith who did some pretty good custom finishes on them. Would have loved to have refinished them in original blue but I carry them a lot now so I reckon I'd go for some tough finishes on them. I hope you like it. Regards to all.
That holster design is identical to the one on a Jaeger Pistole that my dad brought back from WWII.
It has to be sized differently though. The Jaeger is much smaller.
Here's what I use for carry, an FNH HP-DAc 9x19 DA/SA no mag safety, mag release can be changed easy for user. Only imported in 2001, one lot of 500, they were not imported by FNH-USA. They were for military and police, but before they got a leg up Tupperware Glock killed them.
Extremely accurate, excellent trigger, with alloy frame. Nothing like second or third strike if one doesn't pop the first time for some reason. Came with silicon wire recoil spring, of about 18.5 to 20 lb and is a PIA to break down compared to my HP because of no slot for safety to hold slide back. From 15 yards in just under 10 seconds 10 rounds in 8" group.
Israeli Police trade in. Belgian MK II, 1985 vintage, removed the magazine disconnect and had Craig Spegel notch a set of his grips for the lanyard loop stud.
I have been looking for HP for quite a while. When I came across this one locally, I couldn't pass it up. It's a Herstal FN HP-SA from Belgium. It was manufactured in 2003. The Herstals (Browning thru and thru) were only imported to the US for a couple of years. CDNN and AIM sold a bunch of them for less than $500 back in 2004. This particular pistol came with the original case, manual, spent casing, cleaning kit and 4 magazines. In addition, the seller threw in 2 holsters (LH!) a leather 2-mag pouch, fancy wood grips, Browning standard wood grips, 80 personal defense 147gr HPs, and 160 White Box 115gr FMJ rounds. Price? $640 for the whole lot. The pistol is as-new without a mark. I bought it from the original owner who purchased it in 2004. It is the original concept SA and not the SFS model. I think I did pretty well and I'm very happy to have it.
