    Just got my first 1911 as an early wedding gift for my fiance!! Couldn't have asked for a better gift. Put the VZ grips on last week. Sent 150 rds through her yesterday, and enjoyed cleaning this morning. :wow:

    I've had a number of 1911's, Kimbers, Springfields, Dan Wesson's, and even a RIA.

    I like the 1911, but I only need one of them....even though I do regret selling several of them.

    You know looking at these fine 1911s it reminds me how bad you really have to try and make a 1911 ugly. Yet people still find a way.......Taurus you listening? Gold accented small parts? Really? Why oh why? :)

    It sells to the gangstas and wannabe's, and the bling fanciers. :rofl:

    I'll stick with my butt ugly Springfield Omega and plain jane Colt Delta Elite.....I will say my 5" full sized Bobtail Razorback Dan Wesson is a work of art just as is from the factory.

    Beautiful sight! Other than the late addition Remington R1 are they all springfield? I can't see the brand on a few of them.
