    I'm going to take a different approach to start here. While I've said over and over, that a nice set of beautifully grained wood grips are my favorite, I also love the nostalgia of the original maroon plastic grips on the WWII era 1911A1s.

    They're proudly displayed here on these two old USGIs. :cool:
