    I also just recently picked up a "sporterized" 1938 M44 with a bent bolt that will go in the archangel stock (as soon as it comes in)

    Remington 710 in 30-06 I find this rifle is excellent for a budget gun.

    In life an 06 has taken a plethora of Deer,as well as a 30/30.Pops preferred a .257 Roberts,it fed us in ruff times.I don't know howta post pics,his lever was built by a Polish born smith from Buffalo NY.'08.

    Not a great picture but my latest is a .257 Weatherby Accumark with fluted stainless factory barrel. Got it for $580 with Readding 3 die set and shellholder. Not a one-holer yet but working on it. Scoped the barrel and it was fired very little. 26" tube is the ticket! Nikon 4.5-14x is not bad for the $$$. US made Mark V action is nice.

    AK,thanks for the offer.The pics are on a Kodamatic instant.I don't even have a clue howta scan/attach them.

    Pops was a .257 Roberts fan,he took White Tail ta 800lb Elk with it.'08.
