    I have a rifle for sale. I have someone from MD looking to purchase it. Is there a problem with this?

    "I'll take if you'll sale to a Maryland Resident.I've looked into this and long arm transfers are legal in adjoining states."

    Don't do it, illegal unless you go through a dealer. All private transfers are illegal across state lines with the exception of bequeathed firearms.
