I was wondering of being in the service qualifies for the LE discount when purchasing a firearm. I just got my G19 for $479 and am curious if I could have got it cheaper. Sad that no business will give you a discount even knowing that you're military and are entitled to it.

Yes, military and retired military qualify for the LE discount. Depending on the options, you may have recieved the discount. Does your G19 have night sights?

I always ask about a military discount when I'm shopping. It's amazing how many places give one. Only last week I got $100 off on a Culligan water softener just by asking.

I actually ran into an Arbys that gave a 10% millitary discount. Pretty cool.

Biggest problem I have found is just finding a LE dealer to get the discount.
