Has anyone had a SD ammo your LC9 didn't like and what kind?
SD ammo that my LC9 has eaten without fail: Winchester 115STHP, Federal 9BP, Ranger 147SXT, Ranger 147 T, Ranger 147 JHP, Speer 124 GDHP, 124 and 147 XTP's, There might be one or two I forgot. My LC9 hasn't had a single malfunction of any kind in several thousand rounds.
I did have one very high recoiling 147XTP load that would not lock the slide back on the last round. The mag follower would jump past the tab on the slide stop. So any of the boutique ultra high velocity rounds may cause this condition.
Hornady Critical Defense would hang up on the feed ramp of my LC9 when chambering a round. I switched from HCD to Gold Dot +P Short Barrel and haven't had any more issues.
I have always used Gold Dots with my Glocks, so when my fiancée got her LC9 that's what we used. And it has run flawlessly. Haven't tried anything else.
