I'm considering getting a Mk III (22LR target pistol) and would like to have Crimson Trace lasergrips on it. They are available for the original style MK II & III's (with the Luger shaped grips). But the new Mk III RP is supposed to take "most 1911 grips." Does anybody know if that includes Crimson Trace lasergrips? It looks like it might fit, but the frame would have have exactly the same angle, frontstrap, etc for the laser to actually function and line up with the target.

Any 22/45RP owners that have tried this?

    Thanks
