I'm amazed that they are actually trying to go through with this. The UN is obviously under the impression that the Obama administration has the sole authority to overturn any Constitutional Amendment they want during their time in office. A gun ban exercised by the UN will mean nothing to true Americans, I guess they'll just have to find that out the hard way. Dang shame they are willing to destroy the world just to prove a point that they have the power.

I'm glad you posted this, but I am surprised that no one else is paying any attention to it.

Oh, we're paying attention. Not a whole lot we can do though. If the Obamination decides to sign it into law what will be done? Doesn't seem like congress will do anything as they have already proven. The Scots just proved the Constitution is useless as they can now right into a brief whatever they want to make something constitutional. If he signs it I don't believe anything short of another revolution can stop him. For now all we can do is hope November hurry's up and gets here before he's crown Imperial Leader of Mexamerica. But then in November he may well be. :faint:

Since he can choose what laws/regulations to enforce or enact with the wave of a pen now, what does the Constiution have to do with it any more.

I used to believe this crap from the UN over the years meant nothing. Now...not so much.

If George Soros is backing/underwriting the ATT, you have to know that it is not good or will be bad for the US. Of course SOS Hillary & POTUS Obama think it is awesome. :steamed::rofl:

Soros Promotes UN Control Over Gun Ownership
    Written by Joe Wolverton, II

"Make no mistake, however, Soros and his fellow globalist gun controllers don’t have in mind (at least at first) to march blue-helmeted UN soldiers into the homes of Americans with orders to seize their guns and ammunition. Rather, through the passage of binding international treaties and UN resolutions, they will force the national governments of the world to do the dirty work for them."

I can't count how many of these I've signed. From Rand Paul, Larry Pratt, Dudley Brown and Lord only knows who else. But honestly, I don't think the Obama administration really cares what the American people want. Not unless you are on his list of pro-nanny staters.

For the record, I think they are going to try and pull whatever strings, whether Constitutionally, or Un Constitutionally (considering the fact that they are even having this meeting, is, in itself, unconstitutional), to get this "treaty" to become a law.

The thing is, the pro gun groups and firearms industry will likely tell them to get F'd just like Rick Perry just did. Pretty much anyone who is truly "American", has self nullified Obama and his entire administration as it is, they are less and less valid in the hearts and minds of the American people, with each passing day.

I am seeing more and more signs of a mutiny of sorts happening throughout this country, and I am just sitting here waiting till the day I turn on my TV or log into the internet, and see that it has lead to some sort of civil unrest.

A Clear & Present Danger regarding National Security

<hr style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); background-color: rgb(0, 0, 0);" SIZE="1"><!-- / icon and title --><!-- message --> Please excuse my computer illiteracy and ignorance of protocal & procedure, but, as the original poster of this imperatively subjected thread and its ongoing - appropriately urgent and sincere - contents, the fact that it is separated from its original place as the starting ('#1") post and its title ('A Clear & Present Danger regarding National Security') placement, with its (below) contents... I am ignorant of and/or misunderstand the reason for this displacement.

Notwithstanding, although the title is featured in large letters - and can indeed be accessed - after a number of entries, still, I do not understand why it has been moved from its former place as the start of this thread, which is now identified as 'Larry Pratt of GOA on Fox News - Arms Trade "Treaty".

Respectfully request explanation for the afore described transition; whereas, for the stated reasons, and hopefully by the approval of this thread's administrator(s), I offer (again) what was the original start of what has become this self explicitly important issue...

    *************************************

At the time of this writing, the controversial issue of United Nations elements entering the United States to carry out and enforce the 'confiscation' of all privately owned firearms and ammunition is pending approval by the president. Apparently the UN has been selected as the potential instrument of fulfilling the afore described objective, which is, of course, an emphatically bold affront (more colloquially referred to as 'gun grabbing') against the Constitutional Second Amendment.

The proposed initiative is buffered with an allowance for the right to keep and bear arms, as long as each individual projectile, casing and/or primer of each individual round of ammunition is marked with a codified, unique mark of identification - the same proposed method of identification is tentatively planned to identify individual long and hand guns. The enormous moral and financial burden this would oblige all arms industries, employees, private enterprises and law abiding (consequently unemployed) citizens to submit to (re-tool for) is self-explanatory.

The issued proposal intends to render all firearms and ammunition presently owned by individual and collective law abiding American citizens as being illegal and accompanied by a requirement of surrendering of same, or compulsory 'confiscation' by UN elements.

Repeat: willful non-compliance with the above proposed 'ratification' of present firearms laws, effects 'criminalization' of any and all citizens who keep and bear privately owned firearms and ammunition, legally purchased or traded prior to the activation of the proposed ratification.

It is the considered opinion of this OP that the United Nations has been selected to carry out the tentatively incumbent action, because all American citizens - certainly and categorically including law enforcement and military personnel - are individually and collectively sworn to excercise not only the 'right', but the 'duty' "to defend the American Constitution from all of her enemies, be they foreign or domestic, whomsoever" - thereby enforcing and otherwise preventing American law enforcement and military institutions and personnel from protecting any such imposed, anti-constitutional action. This fact being the self-explicit reason for threatened deployment of internationally utilized, blue helmet garnished UN elements to carry out the proposed seizure of private, legally acquired and owned property.

This entry reiterates that the subjected Constitutional 'improvisation' would transform all law abiding citizens who refuse to comply with the proposed measures (that is, specifically, those who recognize the protection of, and comply with the untampered or 'ratified' Constitution 'shall not be infringed') to be officially categorized and treated as 'criminals'.

The above notation represents categorical disagreement and non compliance with any and all governments or individuals who would or will 'modify' or otherwise alter the Constitution, including the recognition and reminder that it is a crime to alter any government document.

Very sincerely - and best wishes,
    - Lakota

I have no idea what you're talking about. I don't know where your post was posted but I can tell you it was not moved here. Chris Brines started "this" thread, titled this thread and is why his post in the #1 post in this thread.
