Hey guys, I have a pretty new, fast laptop. For some reason on Glocktalk it runs very slow. I will click on a thread and it will start loading extremely slow. Sometimes if I click again it will jump to the page it was trying to load. My virus scan is up to date and finds nothing. I haven't noticed it on other sites and it started within the last few months.

    Any ideas?

There looks like quite a few complaints of "slow" gun related websites lately. I don't know what it is. Are you using an internet accelerator from your internet service? These sometimes causes issues, so if so, maybe try switching it off if you can.

I don't think we have any kind of accelerator. We have a wireless modem from AT&T U-Verse. Everything ran great when I first got the computer about six months ago. It just started in the last six weeks or so. I figured a virus or spyware but my up to date PC-cillin can't find anything.

I would run malwarebytes, just in case :)

I'd also make sure your options are set to only load the last 2-5 days or so, rather than the last 45, etc. That could make a difference.
