Wow! I might pay that kind of money, if JMB resurrected and built another 1911. The guy is definitely a little goofy! We will sometimes put stuff on that were not sure of the price and set a high reserve but start the auction at a penny to get a feel for what its worth. But thats just nuts

That's a Monolith heavy weight with a bolt on rail.

Now I've seen it all, someone trying to make a Baer look like a Springfield! :faint:

Fairly recent. Has to be some of his last work. Over priced for sure.

If you could put a red dot on that and light it would be the perfect weapon system.

Hmm. I know I'm not allowed to be negative on here, but it looks like a Colt with the "Model O Package" + checkering and a really heavy beadblast.

It might take him a year or two but I wouldn't be surprised if he can get $6K or 7K for it.

I guess i'm one of the few who think's it's not really overpriced. When he was actually building, he was probably the most in demand builder in the country, yet because he built so few pistol's they were and are extremely rare. It's not a deal by any means.

well considering I see new builds from Heirloom Precison go for over $6300 and there's 3 of them still building on a daily basis, I don't think the price for the gun or the rarity of it is that far off.
