Last year saw me buy a ton of knives, many of them quite nice. After running out of room in my safe and a couple of drawers, I decided to downsize to knives I'd actually carry at least occasionally. Right now my interests lie more in the NFA direction, so knife funds are very low.

I would still like to acquire a ZT 0454, but so far none of my preorders have come up. Other than that I'm not sure what I'll get this year.

What do you guys have your sights set on?

knifeworks. be forewarned that g10 color appears to be all over the board on these. most thought they were going to be more blue as they were advertised as blue/black. didn't help that kw did their promo shot of one that's near brilliant blue. they did put up a disclaimer on possibility of inconsistent scales where color could be lopsided. I'm happy regardless; it's a hell of a lot of m390...

Another Marty Young custom folder... and another Microtech OTF.... at this stage of my obsession, production knives leave me uninspired..

Blade Show is in June.... I will spend some $$ there per normal..

I've done customs and all levels of production, I keep coming back to mid level factory knives like ZT and Benchmade.

    My possibilities:

    - 0888 Max and 0454 from ZT, if I am lucky enough to get my hands on them
    - more Yojimbo 2s - one would get mild pimp on it for EDC (bigger scalloped G10 for Spyderhole access) and another might be sacrificed for a trainer. I already have a few but they are signed by Michael Janich so I want to keep those stock.
    - I need to add a mid-sized fixed blade, probably an ESEE 5, and probably more dups of the 3
    - I might also start acquiring a line of Bark Rivers, the Bravo series.
    - I am sure ZT will announce more LEs that I want
    - More regular and sprint Para 2s
    - Emerson mini CQC-15 and regular Commander

I am sure I am forgetting some...

I picked up another custom from Paul Lusk when I ran into him yesterday. This is his Rio Concho model in CPM154 and amboyna burl. This is my 3rd Lusk knife and probably one of my favorite knives yet.

    Nice Leather

    A touch of file work

Phenomenal grinds and finish as usual with Paul's knives.

    That is beautiful!

The Bark River Bravo 3 looks intriguing.

I'm still waiting for the call to pay for my two Swamp Rat RMD's, a tan Scrap Yard 1111 to come in, and my TTKZ. After that, who knows. The only folders I still carry are my 0550 and Zaan. I'm tempted by the S110V Native 5, though.

Really nice knives gents! I recently picked up a Spyderco Assist (emergency themed knife) along with a SOG Trident. Really enjoying both. On my short list are a nice ZT, along with another assisted-opening SOG or possibly Kershaw.

Bought these three all at the end of 2013. ZT 0561 in Elmax, Microtech Socom Elite in S35-VN, and Microtech UTX-70 dual edge in Elmax.

For 2014 I intend on finding at least 2 Microtech Ultratech OTF and if I can find one, a HALO V. BladeHq has a beautiful custom HALO V right now for some $$$ that is slightly beyond my price range that I can justify.

Got this one this year too, late Christmas present. Benchmade 162 Sibert Bushcrafter. Pretty cool knife, thick chunk of S30V for sure. I made the dangler for the sheath out of scrap so don't laugh too hard.

Picked up some Moras to see what the hype was about, probably $50 worth in this picture. I honestly don't get it... Cheap knives are cheap.
