Who is using a KKM Barrel in their Glock 29 for street carry, and what loads are you carrying.

  2. KKM 4.5 inch. Underwood 180g GD 1300 FPS or Swampfox 1400 FPS 180g JHP.

Works great. Using Wolff stock weight spring and Wolf SS guide rod

G29 KKM stock length with Underwood 165gr Gold Dots. I originally purchased the 180gr XTPs but was a bit uncomfortable with them blowing primers out of the case with this barrel. Sent them into Kevin Underwood and he thought they looked ok. The 165's function perfectly and I am very happy with them.

If it's repeatedly blowing primers when it shouldn't (like with a good "factory" load), the action is out of time. If the OEM barrel doesn't do this, the new barrel is bad (improperly machined), spring too weak, or the lockup (barrel lug and/or block) is worn out. If you are using an OEM spring, move up a couple pounds for "full" loads. If that doesn't work, return the barrel. If both barrels do it, Glock needs the pistol back.
