I have a chance to pick one up. It is in excellent shape, very little wear on the frame rails at all. An older gentleman owned it and sold it for a smaller caliber as he couldn't shoot .45acp well anymore. It has the heavy melt treatment. It is in the CCO configuration. The slide is Commander length at 4.25" while the frame is an Officers sized frame. I like the fact it lacks the Schwatz safety as I feel that it has absolutely no place on a weapon that may be used for serious work. I have shot and carried 1911's my entire life and prefer them over all other pistols. The only thing that comes close is my Glock 19. I love that gun! Anyway, what do some actual owners have to say about this gun as far as reliability and durability?
