well i talked smack bout kia cars , and last 2 days my daughter has been shopping for a Soul , so ive seen alot in last 2 days ,shes got one picked out and seems to be nice , great warranty , she wants a eco box for now , so they are not the same cars of years ago .

i also actually drove a new sportage for kicks lol . nice suv .

the only thing i dont like is if you buy a used kia it must be bought from a kia dealership for the warranty to be transferable
    i dont like that .

in our area rick hendrick kia is biggest dealer and they only had 3 , was told they sale quick , and while we were there someone bought one lol .

id like her to get used as not to take a hit , but used SOUL is
apparently hard to find . so she is getting a new one . i drove it for 30 minutes , very nice eco box

    so KIA i apologize

I was the same way until my wife did some shopping around and settled on an Optima hybrid. Not a half bad little car, found out today the steering gets a tad touchy around 105 though....

I traded my beloved 2005 Tacoma Prerunner in for a 2011 Kia Sorento V6 two months ago. I never thought I'd own a Kia, but so far I'm digging it. A lot of bang for the buck.

Glad ya liked it, my brother has one of those. THere's nothing on this planet that could make me pay for a Kia. I'd rather have a 89 Ranger than the newest Kia out there. He loves the thing though.

    1) That's only true of the 10yr/100k mile warranty, the 5yr/60k bumper-to-bumper is fully transferable.
    2) Powertrain warranty is transferable on certified pre-owned only, not just any "used" bought at the dealership
    3) Until a few years ago you couldn't transfer the 10/100 warranty at all, so at least this is an improvement.
