Hey guys , any KSP guys here ? I have heard that their duty guns sre Glock 35's. Are there any KSP guys here that can confirm that ? I live on the boarder near Kentucky and my department does have dealings with them every so often when things happen near the state line but I have never looked close enough at their duty pistols.
We carry G22's but I would love the extra sight radius of the 35's.
Anyone know for sure if they carry them ?

Not KSP, but I know for a fact they do - they are/already have upgraded from Gen3 to Gen4 G35's. Info came from assistant commander of training - I do our departments armorer work, and called to see if they were interested in the Glock school we hosted. Was told they were getting a free class as part of the trade in for the Gen4.

I carried a personally owned G35 instead of the issued G22 until I switched to a 1911. The longer sight radius definitely improved my shooting, it also never malfunctioned, unlike my 22.

I carried a G35 when I was required to carry a .40. I prefered it to the G22. It is very pleasant to shoot.

    They do.

I almost bought one instead of my G22.

They are each issued a G35, a G27, a Remington 870 and an M-16A1 converted to semi-auto(but can buy their own AR).

And there are people saying the 35 is NOT used for carry because of the 3.5 pound connector......

    NOT the PNW (yet)
There is a blue-label (LE version, 3 magazines, 5.5 connector) available for both the 34 and 35...

I'd say Kiesler's, but I can check if you'd like.

Speer Gold Dot 155 gr. for duty and Master Cartridge for the range.

They just recently started switching over to Gen 4's. They must have gotten secret "police" Gen 4's, because they don't malfunction like the ones the guys in General Glocking always post about.

I think the troopers are paying $300 for the 27 and $425 for the 35, but you can bet they'll go higher to the public when they get that far. I was going to get a 27, but I spent the money on a Browning Hi Power at Bud's. Now I have a pile of .40 ammo and no .40 pistols (even though that's my favorite caliber).

I was told $402 for the 27 and close to $500 for the 35 + $15 per gun for transfer fee.. That sounds alittle high to me. I just wanted to see if anyone on here was with ksp and knew what they were goin for.

That's probably the cost when they are sold at retail. The trooper who carries the gun is allowed to buy it a lot cheaper at turn-in time.

I was just wanting to know if that was the same price the trooper holding the gun was paying or if they was marking them up to the retired troopers?
