I am looking at a KAHR K40 model 4041.It is an earlier KAHR perhaps 15+ years old. I have gone on-line and have searched for information on this model. It is all steel and is either nickle plated or stainless, I cannot tell. It does not have the work "stainless" on the right side, yet the seller says it is.

Does anyone have any information on this model, its years of production runs, and is it stainless (before "stainless" was stamped on the gun?

Many Thanks to anyone who may reply!
