I have only one word for this:

    OUCH!!!!!!

Man, Im not recoil adverse but the g29 with Underwood 155 is HOT.

My g20's with the same ammo arent bad at all but YIKES that some strong crapola there! :wow:

I've been looking at their 9mm stuff and from the specs it appears to be HOT! I know that my Glocks are tough, but am curious at how aversely Underwood ammo will impact the longevity of my pistols. What has been your experience with this stuff?

I've run 180 and 165gr underwood through my g29 - it shoots great! Accuracy is great. Recoil is manageable. Love it!

The accuracy of the ammo was really excellent but admittedly I was getting pretty flinchy by the end.

I cant speak to the other calibers but Ive shot a fair amount of Underwood 10mm.. and it IS real 10mm!

Yeah, after about three magazines of nuke loads out of my G29, my palm is in pain. My trigger finger starts to hurt as well. The Glock 20 is a little more forgiving.

& Underwood tends to run 20-50 fps above spec.

Last time I went to the range, I shot PMC 200gr and after 200rds, my palm was quite sore as well.

Today I'm going to shoot some 180gr Underwood in my 29SF - I bought 300, sounds like I'll only get maybe 100 in before my palm starts to hurt. lol

Underwood 155gr XTP 10mm runs 1420+/-30fps out of my G29, stock barrel. And, yes, it stings a bit.

    Yikes! :wow:
I've only used the Hornady 155 which goes about 1,270 out of my 29.
Not wanting any more pop than that either. :wavey:

Or just shoot more so my hands suck it up and get tough. :D

I like that option better!

Don't know your age, but, the problem with your plan is, about the time your hands get tough enough, the carpel tunnel sets in.:crying:

Are you getting a G30 for your birthday?

Being 29, fire away! You have plenty of years to blast away.:wavey:

lol Nope, but the 29 I purchased was quite close to my birthday actually...

Next on the list is another 10mm - the Glock 20. My middle finger knuckle on my firing hand is a bit sore from smacking the bottom of the trigger guard and rubbing it. So I'm going to go full-size and see how she shoots comparatively.

Besides, why not? 29SF for carry and a 20 for wheeeeee! :)

Underwood Ammo and a Glock 10mm pistol (or 10mm conversion) are a match made in heaven. :)

The Underwood 10mm 220gr HC-FN load is also a real "palm pounder", but in a good way (and you won't go blind). The specs are 1200 fps, 703 ft-lbf energy and Taylor KO 15. Great alternative for woods protection and/or hunting. Just in case Gaston is reading this, I promise to shoot the HC-FN load in an aftermarket barrel only.
