To Dave Helton. It should be back in about 3 weeks. I will post pics when it gets back. I am having it bobbed, flush crowned, and the front strap snake skinned to match the new MSH. Then the frame will be re-coated wit a semi gloss coat to match the slide and not have the flat dull look.

If I don't respond it is because for now my posts have to be "authorized" by a moderator. Apparently that takes a day or more, so if I am slow to respond that is why...

Sounds like it is going to be very cool. How long is it going to be away for?

Whoever suggested him to you must be reely smarrt. :whistling:

Dave does nice work, is affordable, and has pretty quick turnaround. Talked to him about some work at one point, some folks that have used him, and he is highly recommended.

Yup, thanks for the recommendation! I looked at his site and like his work, so I called him and he was really nice and very affordable.

I can't wait for it to get back!

My thoughts as well. I am interested to see the results after your "time out."

I have a couple of Dave's builds, including one that he built for himself and was his personal carry weapon. He does nice work and has very reasonable turnaround times.....or at least he did last time I talked to him, but he was starting to stack up work.
