Up until a couple of months ago I had never shot a Glock. That changed when I bought my first one, a 3rd generation 23. At that point I also owned two Ruger P89's and I was happy with them. Well, that changed after the first time I shot the Glock. After shooting the Glock I have had no desire to shoot the Rugers.

Anyway, fast forward a couple of months to today. I just went and traded in one of my Rugers on a 3rd generation 26 to carry and to keep in my vehicle.

I currently have the same two glocks, my g23 is a gen4, and they are both amazing. Those are the two best ccw glocks there are. I have a hard time deciding which I like best, although at the moment the 23 gets the nod, mostly due to how well I can shoot it. I shoot the 26 pretty well, but the 23 is working so well for me that I cant leave it at home. Great choices, have fun with them.:wavey:

Thanks everyone. Is it just me or is the 26 a lot tougher to field strip than the 23?

The releases seem much harder to push down on the 26 than on my 23.

I bought a 27 gen4 and 17 gen 4 and ordered my third a 26 gen4 today. I too had never shot Glocks before buying the 27 in October. I now think I have the fever. Do you think it's contagious?

I hope I don't have pink carpet, if so I've never seen it.

Not sure. Do you know if the fact that I am already looking for my next one is any indication?
