    ... and now I got the "Kid on Christmas Eve" hyperactivity.

    I have the "Armory Cote" model without the rail and with the night sites coming my way... and I am stoked!!

    Thanks to Bac for helping me "see the light" and get off the damn fence.

    Please... share your TRP goodness!

    This will be the fourth 1911 in my safe (currently). And the most expensive I've ever bought. I am anxious to see how she performs. I've had the privilege of shooting a few of a friend of mines vast collection (though I think Bac has him beat), including an old Colt he sent off to Wilson (or Baer or once of those high end builders). His nicer pistols were... well, "smooth" somehow doesn't do them justice. Suffice it to say, his made my lesser 1911's - including a Springer Champion - feel like a clunky rattly POS (which it most certainly was not).

    Maybe I expect too much here... but I hope not.

    I don't think you'll be disappointed with the TRP. Its one of the best production 1911s around.

    You'll love it.

    Here's mine, nothing special like some of the custom jobs above. Stock full rail:

    Congrats on a great gun!
    Be sure and let us know what you think.
    I'll be interested in how it responds to your reloads.
    Mine was a little picky when it was brand new.

    Congrats! You are going to love it.

    Here's mine, along side the G29.

    Try and hunt down some Wilson Combat mags while you're waiting... like in Glock2740's pics. Stock mags (in my pic) are cheap.

    @Glock2740... Wow amazing collection.

    He's getting it in a trade, not from Soringfield.
