Just read the headline that the Palestinians declared Jerusalem will be their capital... http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/162753#.ULvZs4ZFJ-1

It's a future tense statement, but it reminds me of the promise that God will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone, and anyone who moves against it will be crushed.

We live in interesting times

    Answer:Molly:
In my book "The Final Battle" by Hal Lindsey

    It says:
    Jewish Jerusalem Through The Ages
Jewish attachment to Jerusalem has spanned thousands of years, and the city has been the capital of independent Jewish states both in antiquity and in the modern day. Though Jerusalem is revered by other faiths, its centrality to Judaism and to Jewish people is unique. It has, for example, never been the capital of an Islamic state and was often left to decay under Islamic rule. Despite these inescapable truths, the media frequently distort the role of Jerusalem in the political and religious life of the region.

This was written long before your post in 1995.

For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favor is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

I didn't write that post in 1995, I just wrote it today.

Just kidding :) I know what you meant.

I've read all of Hal's books, good to hear you've read his stuff too.

Land, and Cities, "belong" to those who can take it militarily and keep it from all comers who seek to take it away from them militarily.

God has nothing to do with it.

I'll keep my money on the Jew's comparative military prowess compared to their enemies who refuse to make peace with them and peacefully coexist.
