I'm in the market for a Jeep Wrangler. I have a used car dealer (not a bad guy) looking for me. He's recommending the Unlimited. I want a two door car. Does any Unlimited model come with two doors? All the Unlimited models I've seen on the 'net are four door cars.

    Thanks!

Agreed, and for me needing room and more space for more than just 2 people the choice would be the 4 door(that as of right now is the ONLY one id own). The 2 door is cool as long as its just you and one other person needing to get around..more than that is just a PITA(ask me how i know.... from riding in the back of a 2 door through college and in the military lol) Ive been in the 4 door and would own it now EXCEPT for the MPG factor .

The Unlimited is the 4 dr version.
A 2 dr. version would simply be the regular Wrangler.

If you have kids or regularly have a lot of passengers I'd opt for the 4 dr. It's pretty tight to squeeze into the back of the 2 dr. But the 4 dr. will be slightly slower & get slightly worse gas mileage. It will also be a bit worse in serious rock crawling in certain situations.

    I picked the 2 dr.

Thanks guys. This Jeep is gonna be a Cape Cod car (no real distances). I'm going to opt for the two door version as it's only the wife and me (and an occasional dog...).

Before the 4Dr models a Wrangler Unlimited was still a 2Dr with a longer wheelbase and cargo area :whistling:

Hold there. The unlimited was introduced as a long wheelbase two door with the last body style. With the latest design change, the unlimited got 4 doors. I forget what year that was, but I think it was '09 or '10.

Search for "LJ Jeep" or "TJ Unlimited".

I'm in the market. I'm thinking four door for me simply for the ride comfort of the longer wheelbase and I think the 4DR looks a lot better.

Not sure about the newer ones, but I know on the older models (<2006), you could get a Wrangler Unlimited in a 2 door version.

It's your money and you should get whatever suits you best. To me, though a Wrangler isn't a Wrangler if it has four doors, power windows, or an automatic transmission. YMMV.

Although the "luxuries" are nice, I would have to agree. A bare bones, stripped out Jeep with a conservative lift and slightly oversize tires, with a manual tranny is AWESOME! I'd love to get an old CJ! :)
